Hey there, fellow food enthusiasts and explorers! Today, let me take you on a quirky journey through my recent escapade at Prankster Chandigarh, located in the vibrant Sector 26.
As a woman with an insatiable love for good food and a penchant for discovering new places on the weekends, this offbeat spot seemed like the perfect choice for my gastronomic cravings.
As soon as I stepped foot into Prankster, my senses were instantly captivated by its mesmerizing decor and lively ambiance. The entire place exuded an enchanting aura that made me feel like I had stumbled upon a hidden gem.
Picture this: I was greeted by a colossal copper statue of a Victorian gentleman as I made my way in. Talk about making a grand entrance!
To my right, I discovered a comfortable seating area with plush sofas and plenty of space to lounge around. The walls were adorned with intriguing artistic paintings that added an artistic flair to the surroundings.
On the left side, there awaited a vast section that cleverly blended the essence of a library with a cozy reading area. Yes, you heard that right! You could actually indulge in a good book while savoring your scrumptious meal.
The space was adorned with vintage Victorian decor, featuring oversized old lamps, a globe model, a telephone model, and even a gramophone model.
As I ventured further, I stumbled upon a sight that left me absolutely awestruck—a spectacular bar with a ceiling made entirely of mirrors. Right in front of it, a small party area beckoned with disco lights and groovy music.
And that’s not all! To the extreme left, there was a slightly elevated seating area, as if inviting us to rise above the ordinary and embrace the extraordinary.
But wait, there’s more! Beyond the bar, I encountered not one, but two additional seating areas that were like separate worlds in themselves. Visiting Prankster Chandigarh was like embarking on a journey to five different places all at once!
Now, let’s get to my favorite part—the food. I must say, Prankster has a vibe of its own when it comes to its culinary offerings. I had heard so much about their “Fattirs” from various people that I simply had to try them for myself.
Dubbed the first Egyptian flakiest pizza in town, these unique creations combine the goodness of patties and pizza. Trust me, if you’re a fan of both, you’re going to fall head over heels for these Fattirs.
Next up on my culinary adventure was the “Pinki Pasta” (fusilli) and Veg manchow soup.
The pasta was like a delightful medley of flavors that satisfied my pasta cravings perfectly and the soup was quite flavourful which hit just the right spot! And then there was the “Sharma Ji inspired hot dog,” a quirky twist on a classic snack.
It was an absolute treat to munch on, with flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. But alas, not everything was a hit! I also tried their Nitro cooked dahi bhalla, and to be completely honest, I loathed it. It simply didn’t live up to the hype and fell flat in comparison to the original dahi Bhalla that I hold dear to my heart.
All in all, my experience at Prankster was a pleasant one, and I am definitely planning to visit again to explore more of their diverse menu and tantalizing beverages. Yes, you heard it right, I haven’t even scratched the surface when it comes to their drink offerings.
So, fellow foodies, if you’re in Chandigarh and seeking a quirky dining experience that transports you to multiple worlds in a single visit, Prankster Chandigarh, Sector 26 should be at the top of your list. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
