Oh, I can still remember the excitement I felt as I stepped into the Grub Fest at Chimney Heights, Zirakpur, with my foodie friends.

Being a lover of both music and food, I couldn’t wait to immerse myself in the vibrant atmosphere of the festival.

As we arrived, we were greeted by the lively buzz of the event. I was blown away by the colorful decorations and fun cutouts, creating the perfect ambiance for the occasion.

With tight security in place, only those with digital tickets were allowed in, and I felt a sense of reassurance knowing that we were in good hands.

We scanned our tickets at the special gates and entered the fest, feeling a rush of excitement wash over us.

I couldn’t wait to explore all the food stalls and indulge in some delicious treats while enjoying the live music performances that were promised. The atmosphere was electric, and I was thrilled to be a part of it all.

Sai and Zinnia Band Performance at Grub Fest Chandigarh

Oh my goodness, I can hardly contain my excitement as I reminisce about the amazing performance by “Sai and Zinnia” at the Grub Fest. As a music lover, hearing some of my favorite songs live was an absolute dream come true.

Their rendition of Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” was so electrifying, and I loved how they engaged the audience with questions before each song. It was such a fun way to get everyone pumped up and create a lively atmosphere.

But when they started playing “Party in the U.S.A.” by Miley Cyrus, I was completely blown away! I have to admit, that song is one of my guilty pleasures, and hearing it live was just indescribable.

And when they sang that classic Bollywood tune, “Inteha Ho Gayi Intezaar Ki,” I was transported back to my childhood, listening to the iconic voices of Amitabh and Kishore Kumar.

Their versatility and ability to play a wide range of songs from different artists was truly impressive, and it was like they were reading my mind with every song they played.

Overall, “Sai and Zinnia” left me in awe, and I’ll always cherish the memories of their amazing performance at the Grub Fest.

Naalayak Band Performance at Grub Fest Chandigarh

I was so thrilled when “Naalayak” took the stage at the Grub Fest, and their performance did not disappoint.

It was the perfect way to kick off the evening with some amazing live music.

When they started playing “Tere mere bare mai savera jane, tere mere bare m andhera jaane,” the whole audience was instantly captivated.

It was such a beautiful and soulful song, and I could feel the passion and energy coming from the band.

But what really impressed me was when they played some of their original songs. It takes a lot of talent and creativity to write and perform your own music, and “Naalayak” definitely had both.

Their performance was a hit, and I loved seeing how the audience was grooving and swaying to their music.

It was such a great atmosphere, and everyone was having a great time.

Overall, “Naalayak” left a lasting impression on me with their amazing performance, and I’ll always remember the incredible energy and passion they brought to the stage.

After these performances, we tried different food items like potato crispies, gravy momos, burgers, and fries.

The place was decorated beautifully, and there was a funky signboard that showed all the necessary locations of the fest, such as Grub Arena, Grub Unplugged Courtyard, B&W Lounge, Grub Market & Lifestyle, Washrooms, Grub Office, and Exit.

We were surprised to see that the entire VIP section was empty until the last performance.

There were two audience sections at the festival: one was general, and the other was for VIPs.

We also explored different shops for T-shirts, food, face tattoos, and funky art. In the end, we found the Grub Courtyard, which was a beautiful place to sit and chill.

Shops, Booths, and Fun Activities at Grub Fest Chandigarh

Brands such as Black and White, Club Roadies, Food by Orika Spices, Froyo, Bombay Local, House of Greens, Chawlas, Milkshake, and Co. had booths.

Black and White had set up a free circular reel-making facility where we stood in the middle, and a phone attached with a rod circled around us in fast and slow motion with music.

We made four reels, one of each and one combined, and they were all great.

Club Roadies had set up a game with one host who was asking people to spin the wheel. On the wheel, random prizes and tasks were marked.

Whatever came after spinning the wheel had to be done, and if we won something, we got the prize.

One of my friends got a free vodka shot, and another friend got an arm wrestling challenge.

Froyo was offering desserts, and they had a Big Cow Mascot playing with kids and other people. Food by Orika Spices was selling several dishes and spices.

Each brand had its unique offerings, and we enjoyed exploring all of them.

The crowd was thin when we reached there, but by evening, around 7 pm, people started to come in good numbers.

Dikshant Performance at Grub Fest Chandigarh

The next performer was Dikshant, who became famous for his song “Aankhon Se Batana.”

His beautiful performance had the crowd going wild, and it was the most highly anticipated one. Especially the girls who couldn’t stop talking about him.

During his performance, Dikshant sang some of his other popular tracks, like “Tum Aaye Ho Toh Muskan Bhi Aayi Hai” and “Oh Humrahi.”

He shared his personal experiences and inspiration for writing these songs.

For instance, he talked about how he once went to see someone special in another city, stayed in a hotel, and looked up at the moon in the sky.

At the same time, his special someone was also looking at the moon, and this inspired him to write the song “Oh Humrahi.”

He also talked about how someone can become the reason for your happiness and smile in life, which inspired him to write “Tum Aaye Ho Toh Muskan Bhi Aayi Hai.”

Despite his impressive performance, Dikshant’s fans kept requesting him to perform “Aankhon Se Batana” again and again, which was a clear indication of his immense popularity.

Rashmeet Kaur’s Performance at Grub Fest Chandigarh

The last performing artist was the amazing Rashmeet Kaur! She began her set with her famous song “Bajre Da Sitta,” and then she wowed the crowd with her amazing energy and talent.

Her renditions of “Challa,” “Kina Chir,” “Eh Munde Pagal Ne Saare,” “Kadi Te Has Bol Ve,” “Dil Dubna Chave Ennu Samajh Na Aave,” and “Das Putt Tera Head Down Kaston” were absolutely superb, and she had the crowd eating out of the palm of her hand throughout her entire performance.

I loved it when she paid tribute to Sidhu Moose Wala with “Das Putt Tera Head Down Kaston” and reminded us all of our responsibility to keep him alive in our hearts through his music.

She also performed “Challa” by the legendary Gurdas Maan and spoke about how these icons are what real talent is all about.

Rashmeet even asked the crowd how many people still listen to Gurdas Maan and encouraged anyone who hasn’t to give him a listen and not miss out on some truly great music.

I was particularly moved when she performed “Kina Chir” by The PropheC, as it emphasizes the importance of complimenting girls and how well boys can do that.

This song is all about a guy who keeps praising his lover’s beauty and presence in his life, and I thought it was such a beautiful message.

One of the highlights of Rashmeet’s performance was her friend Gurpreet’s unique dance performance, which was a visual treat.

Rashmeet engaged the audience with her songs and introduced each song with a personal touch, which made it even more special.

She was able to gather the most crowd with her eccentric performance, and it was clear that she was a crowd favorite.

Overall, Rashmeet Kaur’s performance was simply incredible, and I feel so lucky to have been able to witness it.

She truly has a gift for connecting with her audience and bringing out the best in them through her music.
